A Helping Wing is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Northern New Jersey. Dedicated to rescuing companion birds who have been neglected, abused, or injured, A Helping Wing finds loving, adoptive homes for unwanted parrots with education so adoptive families have all they need to succeed with the responsibilities of proper care of birds.
While speaking in PA, Jeanne took me on a trip to her world. A Helping Wing is a finely tuned rescue machine. Her crew of employees and volunteers handle the heavy lifting of daily care, concern and adoption processes with a fierce loyalty to each personality they currently keep safe. I was formally introduced to each individual soul on their ship of love. Overwhelmed by the details she knew and the personal understanding of each and every individual (and there are more than one hundred), I couldn't mistake the full ownership she accepts for each of her companions in need.
These are professionals at a level of practice and business savy that leaves one knowing every single parrot in their care WILL be protected and placed (or sanctuaried) without fail.

And their website.
I support this organization and these individuals, and believe in everything they do for the companion parrot.
If you are within a day's drive of the Warren County, New Jersey area, and you are hoping to find your rescue parrot, THIS is the place and these are the people to start your journey.
