It's easy to get caught up in the emotional idea of bringing home an unweaned baby parrot. The idea of nurturing your new baby may just be too much to resist. But you should resist. Weaning and fledging for a young parrot are pinnacle moments for a bird and done incorrectly can adversely affect a parrot for the rest of it's life, if not kill the bird.
